JUST DO IT!

I really didn't think you would appreciate looking at pictures of leftovers which is all I ended up eating today, so I thought I would talk about the other 2nd most important part of my journey being ACTIVE! When I first joined WW I had already lost almost 30 pounds on my own, but I did it the wrong way I just stopped eating! Huge mistake by the way.

When I attended my first meeting it happened to be on a week where they were starting a new walking challenge amongst the group. Well I almost walked out the door right then and there. For me I had become so inactive that the mere thoughts of doing anything physical really put me off. This had not always been a problem of mine, I used to play softball for years while growing up, I also swam whenever I could get into a pool, and I loved to be outside just doing anything I could. Well after gaining the weight I was so embarrassed to be caught in shorts and sweating that I just hid inside all the time, and after a while being active for me consisted of walking from my room to the kitchen :(

I am glad to this day that I signed up with my grandmother, because it was she who helped me get comfortable amongst the group and I ended up staying until the meeting was over. For the first 2 months of my WLJ I just stuck with counting my points and losing weight that way, but after my first 30 pounds of weight came off I knew it was time that I needed to become active I was going to end up like this, and I don't think guys want to date something who ends up looking this way |
                                                                                                 v

When I had finally made the decision to become more active I went full out just the way I do most things once I have made up my mind. I ordered Charlene Johnson's Turbo Jam workout dvd's. I bought the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, The Biggest Loser dvd, and I received a Shaker Weight from my best friend for my Birthday! I started off with the Turbo Jam dvd's but soon realized that I was still a little too out of shape to start with them, and switched over to the Biggest Loser workouts. After a couple of weeks I could finally make my way though it without wanted to keel over and die from exhaustion, but that feeling of accomplishment really pushed me to do more.

After upgrading my self from the Biggest Loser dvd, I decided it was time to hit the pavement and in a real way this time no walk around the block and back into hide my head. I bought myself my first pair of running shoes, and a Heart Rate Monitor so I would know exactly the kind of calorie burn I was doing each day. The walking started out slow at first I would walk about a mile a day then head back home. After a while though 1 mile wasn't enough so I added an extra one in the mix and found I really loved being outside again!

Right now I try to get in about 3 miles a day, as I am training to do a 5k race, but so far I have only been walking and jogging. I have a bad knee which prevents me from running long distances, but I hope to be able to work up to it one day. For now I am just content to get my lazy ass of the couch and into the real world again. I never knew how many interesting things you can see when you get out and walk each day there really is a whole different world out there. While being scared to be active at first held me back I can now say I look forward to my Turbo Jam workouts, and my daily walks I don't think I would be where I am right now if I hadn't gotten out of my funk and JUST DID IT!

Appetite Is Back!

Okay, so for the first time this week I am starting to feel better and actually had an appetite! This morning I came home from work, and wasn't sure what I wanted to eat. Well with sleep calling my name I decided to eat a quick bowl of Cinnamon Life cereal it is my all time favorite, and I loved every bite this morning!!

I have been taking a steroid all week to help clear up a nasty sinus infection, and I think it really drove my appetite into gear for lunch today. I wasn't sure what I wanted at first, but then I remembered I just bought a new Whole Wheat pasta that I wanted to try. So... I busted out my frying pan and tossed some EVOO into it along with some minced onion, green bell pepper and a little bit of garlic. One it was all nice and heated through I poured in my Black Olive, and Mushroom tomato sauce. I knew I had one piece of Texas Toast left in the freezer so I pulled that out as well and threw it in the oven to get nice and crispy... I'm glad I made a little bit too much now I know I will have great left overs for lunch tomorrow!!

For work tonight I wanted to make sure I brought plenty of low point foods and ones I know would fill me up. I lost a lot last week, and wanted to make sure that I was staying full but also really on track this week so I wouldn't end up with a major gain due to the medication I am on. Tonight I brought with me:

Fruits: Apples, Red Grapefruit, Sliced Strawberries!!
Veggies: Carrots, Celery
Protein: Cheese Cubes and a  Ham and Cheese on a Sandwich Thin! (Spicy Brown Mustard!)
Others: Blueberry Nutri-Grain Bar, Jello Dark Chocolate Mousse!

Overall I would say that today went well I finally had my appetite back, and out of 32 daily points I consumes 31! I have plenty to keep me full and satisfied while at work, and even 1 point left to spare If I decided to pop me a bag of Smart Pop later and munch away. Tomorrow I hope I still have my appetite there are only so many days in the week you can eat Saltines and Tea lol!!

Taking A Sick Day!

So I really wanted to make sure I posted my meals for everyday, but honestly today I didn't eat anything interesting. I feel so incredibly crappy that the only two things I ate all day were hot honey tea, and saltine crackers which does not a food blog make! I think the best picture I can add for today would be along these lines it pretty much sums up how I am feeling...

Only I wish I had some comfy slippers like this little guy my head is burning up but damn for some reason my feet are always freezing! It only figures that I would come down with something it has been months since I have had a decent weight loss and now that I am down 5 and 1/2 pounds I get sick which either means 1 of 2 things I will either lose more this week, but end up gaining it all back once I'm better or I will gain from eating so many damn crackers! Hopefully this years cold will hit me pretty quick and pass without leaving to much destruction behind.

Out of 32 points today I think I consumed them all in Saltines I only wish I could say I indulged in anything better. Earlier in the day I had some BK Chicken Nuggets, but it didn't take me long to realize eating when your sick is not a very wise decision! Oh well there is always tomorrow let's hope I feel slightly more alive then!!

Helpful Sites!

Okay, so when I first started Weight Watchers I attended meetings once a week to get me motivated and to help me learn the program and what it's all really about. I loved my time in meetings, but after a while of becoming so very busy with school and work I decided that it would be better for me to do this journey on my own, and stop attending meetings. When I finally stopped I realized that I needed to keep my E-tools to help me get through this by myself, until I discovered that I didn't have to do it by myself just because I was doing the program online. The WW boards are amazing, and the members there have amazing tips, ideas, and encouragements to offer. While using the message boards I came across some other great sites that have really helped me stay on track and focused during my journey, and I thought I would share them so others who may not have heard of them can check them out.

First and probably my most favorite site is WWW.DAILYMILE.COM here is where I go to find my motivation to workout!! This site is basically a place where all fitness buffs and people who love to workout can be found. There you have the option to create a profile, and add your daily and weekly workouts to the site. Dailymile keeps track of everything from the amount of calories you burned throughout your workout to the kind of workout you did whether it was bike riding, walk, or running. I love this site because after a really intense or long workout I love to be able to post it somewhere that will keep tabs of my total miles I have walked or total minutes of exercise I did through my day. It also keeps track of them monthly as well. It's a great site to find other people in your area who are interested in working out the same way you are, and it is great for a little friendly competition!

Another site I love it WWW.FREEWEBS.COM when I first started WW I really wanted to remember what I looked like when I started, and make sure that at the end of my journey I always had something to look back on to help me remember my struggle, so I would never find myself back in the same situation. This website allowed me to make a free web page where I posted my progress pictures, my weekly weight in results, my weekly workout results and so much more. On this site pretty much anything goes you can add and make the site totally devoted to whatever it is your heart wants. I love knowing that when I have finally hit goal I will have something to look back on that documented through words and pictures my battle with losing weight!

The Third Site I would love to recognize is this very site itself WWW.BLOGGER.COM I came here looking to start a new food blog for myself, and ended up discovering so many other helpful blogger's sites right here. Some of the other members of WW have their own blogs on here and by following one another we offer a support system that really helps one another keep the battle going and stay strong when times get rough. I love that all the blogs are different some revolve around recipes, others about food budgeting and meal planning. This site can be very useful to people out there who are looking for people in the same situation they are. With all the people in the world we can sometimes end up feeling small and insignificant, but with a site like this where you can find so many people who are going through what you are it really helps keep up your spirits and your will to fight!

Day 6 . . . Food Journal

Okay so let me start out by saying that I stepped on the scale this morning, and for the first time in almost 3 months I had a large loss!!! I don't know if it's because this food blog has me motivated to keep on track, and try better healthier things, but whatever it is I'm greatful!! I lost 5.5 POUNDS this week!! I couldn't have been happier with myself for sticking with it this week and not giving up after my gain last week.

This morning I once again slept through breakfast being as I had a very late night the day before. When I finally woke up it was time for lunch. I decided to make something that was simple and fast so I heated up a quesadilla. It was made with grilled chicken breast, Montery Jack cheese bell peppers, and onions. I also added salsa to the side as well as a little low point sour cream! It was very tasty and quick to make I suggest these to all people in a hurry! If you want to make them better you can always toast the shells in a frying pan to make them crunchier it gives them a really nice texture when your eating them!

After eating the Dilla's I decided I wanted something sweet, and I just couldn't bring myself to eat another piece of the pumpkin spice cake again because I have been eating it all week. Instead I sliced up some strawberries and banana's and topped them with a little bit of Fat Free Cool Whip! Let me tell you I have never tasted anything so refreshing and lite for dessert it was amazing I guess people pair these two fruit up often because when mixed the flavors compliment each other so well! This time I remembered to use a ripe banana, and the sweetness from it saved me from having to add any sweetner to this dish at all!

Tonight I have to head back into work :( Oh well I guess I should be used to it by now since I haven't hit any lotteries as of late. I decided to make a Chicken sandwich with Baby Swiss cheese on Rye bread tonight. I normally don't use the Rye because it's more point's then the sandwich thins, but I had plenty of points to spend so I splurged! I was going to bring a larger salad to work with me tonight, but had to settle on a smaller version because I was out of my usually salad fixings. I ended up throwing Romain lettuce, cucumbers, and grated cheese into a bowl and adding some left over bell peppers. I really wanted to get some more fruit in so I decided to take a Ruby Red grapefruit cup with me, and added a pre-packaged container of cheese cubes, grapes and apples to go with everything else. Also tonight since it's the beginning of my new week, and I have my 35 extra weekly points to work with I decided to add a very small mix of M&M's, Reese's Pieces, and York Peppermint Pattie Bites into a little container; this way I can nibble on a couple of candy bites if I get the hot's for something sweet, but it's not enough to ruin my point's count for the day!

Now that I am starting this new week I hope to remain on track, and try and get in some new recipes! I don't expect to lose much this week by staying on track because I had such a large loss this week already, but I am hoping to keep getting in my body toning exercises and my cardio, and hopefully lose some inches! Today out of 32 points I ended up eating all 32! This is a good and typical day people on WW are not supposed to have any dailies left, so for today I think I did very well staying on track !

Day 5 . . . Food Journal

Okay well I went out Friday night, and didn't get back until really late, so today I slept in really late and didn't even wake up until 1pm! While I really enjoyed my sleep time I missed breakfast which I really don't like to do because it helps get my metabolism going for the day. When I woke up my mom and I had plans to go to the movies, so I needed to make something quick, so I didn't end up eating a Jumbo sized popcorn when I got to the theater. I ended up grabbing sandwich fixings and slapping them together before I ran out the door!

While at the movies I did order a medium sized popcorn which I ended up sharing with my mother and my grandmother. Altogether though we still had half a bag of popcorn left by the end of the movie, so for three snackers on a medium popcorn I say we did pretty good not hogging down the goodies! I didn't get a chance to snap a pic of my popcorn at the theater, because it was way to dark, so for this purpose I am just adding in an already taken pic of classic movie popcorn to fill in the space!
After the movies I went home wondering what I was going to make for dinner when my best friend Ashley called me and asked if I wanted to join her and her dbf at a local club and just hang for a while. That took care of me wondering what was going to be for dinner, since I never eat before going to the club I guess I feel that last meal won't let me look as good in my jeans lmao! Anyway we went to the club and afterward we were all starving. Thank God Applebee's was open until 3 for a full moon black light party, so we headed over there and debated on what were all going to have. I ended up getting the new Ravioli Chicken Florentine which was basically like heaven on a plate. The ravioli was tender and cheesy, the grilled chicken they added was grilled to perfection. I'm very glad to admit that I was smart, and only ate half letting my friend and her dbf take home the other half to eat the next day. I don't think I could have justified eating that many points even if I had just walked around all night long! I couldn't get a picture of the meal because of the black light party non of my pictures on my phone would come out so I'm going to add a pic of me and Ashley from our night out instead! We had a blast. . .

While today went a little off track with the pop corn, and the Applebee's I ended up with a total of 35 points eaten out of my allotted 32. I'm very glad that I got in a couple of workouts this week to make up for going over today I'm just happy I got to go out and enjoy an evening with my friends it doesn't happen that often because we all work opposite schedules. This week went by amazingly fast, and I think went by very productively I hope! I weigh In tomorrow, and I am really hoping that I will have done well this week while the new food journal blog has been helping me stay focused my friend and family have been right there with me as well keeping me on track I just want to thank them all again!!

Day 4 . . . Food Journal

I love Friday mornings! For me Friday mornings mean the beginning of my weekend. I typically have Fri. and Sat's off, so either those are the day's I do my most cooking or my most sleeping lol. It usually depends on how busy my week has been and how well I have remained on track throughout the week. This week however I already made my pumpkin spice cake, so I figure I don't need to be making to many more things to tempt me off track. When I got home from work I was only mildly hungry, so I tossed an English muffin into the toaster, and an egg onto the frying pan. I was really tempted to stop at McDonald's on my way home from work, but I decided making my own lower point McMuffin would be wiser. After my egg was cooked all the way through I added on a slice of Swiss cheese to let it melt then put the combination onto the Muffin which I added some country crock to, so it wouldn't end up dry like McDonald's usually is. This muffin was amazing I loved every bite, and I saved myself 2 points by not using any meat on it so I decided to have a banana with it!!

I finally got some really good sleep after breakfast, no annoying phone calls waking me up or costruction workers banging away on the house next doors! For lunch I decided to make an early dinner since I figured I would be going to my friends house later that night and wasn't sure if I would be eating again before then. I decided to make a pan seared cube steak with brown onion gravy. I love cube steak, and most of the time people give it a bad wrap because it can come out tough if not cooked correctly. I made mine in a frying pan with slightly coated in olive oil. Before I cooked the meat I let some minced onions get soft in the oil then threw on the meat. While that was cooking I decided that I was going to have mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies. I hardly ever eat veggie out of a can, so when you see most of my veggies on here know that they mostly come from the steam fresh bags in the frozen food isle. The flavor remains excellent and they don't become mushy from sitting in water for a long period of time. When the cube steak was finished cooking I topped it and the potatoes with a little brown gravy and added some Country Crock butter spread onto my veggies. The cube steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were so yummy!

After my early dinner I did end up going to my best friend Ashley's house to chill and relax. While I was there a bunch of people came over and we all decided to order pizza from Domino's. We ordered a large meat lovers, and I was really stressing about how many points I was going to waste over this totally delicious looking pizza, so in the end I took only 1 bit from 1 piece and then left the rest. This way I could say I had a bite of the yumminess without having to blow my week by eating unnecessary points. When I got back home later that night I was starting to feel hungry, so I heated myself up a tv dinner. I made one of those frozen soup and panini sandwiche things, and it totally hit the spot... While they are not to point friendly themselves the tomato soup was very filling and still fewer points then the pizza. I only had 2 bites out of the ham and cheese panini that came with the meal because they remind me to much of hot pockets which I really never eat.

By this time I was full and ready for bed! I was very happy with the way my day turned out I. The almost pizza debacle was behind me, and I only ended up eating 30 of my 32 points that day! For a Friday this was one of my best ever, for some reason the weekends always make me feel like I can cheat and it won't hurt me, but since starting this blog I find I like staying on track even more then pigging out when I think no one will notice!

Day 3 . . . Food Journal

I'm not sure where I go all of my energy this morning after coming home from work, but as soon as I walked in the door I decided to try a new  WW recipe. I made a delicious pumpkin spice cake for tonight's dessert!! After that I was really hungry, and decided that I really wanted an omlette. . . I took 2 large eggs and whisked them up adding a titch of water to make them nice and fluffy I also added pepper and salt to them before cooking. The inside of my omlette consisted of diced red, green, and yellow bell peppers which I suteed in a pan with some olive oil first just to soften them up. The flavor of those peppers was amazing and added so much to the flavor of my omlette. I also used one slice of Baby Swiss cheese which melted to gooey perfection. I knew that today was going to be one of my larger breakfast days because I was so hungry that I popped in a whole wheat high fiber English muffin into the toaster. After it toasted twice I spread some County Crock Spread on it, and drizzled my omlette with some Ketchup! Needless to say breakfast was very filling and delicious!

For my lunch I knew I needed to use up the other piece of chicken breast I had cooked yesterday, so I decided to make another salad and throw the chicken in with it this time... I got my veggies, and my protein in yeah!! My Salad was made up of, Romain Lettuce, Red, Yellow, and Green bell peppers, as well as cauliflower florets. I also added in a small cucumber, sliced green olive, my chicken breast diced up, with diced tomato, and grated Parmesan cheese. I was going to use my fat free ranch, but I finally decided to use my Tangy Tomato Bacon dressing again to save on points.

I waited all morning, and afternoon to get to the dessert part of my day. The house smelled like Thanksgiving with all the pumpkin scents floating through the kitchen. I took only a small piece of the pumpkin spice I made this morning and added just a daub of my Fat Free Cool Whip to it. The recipe called for one spice cake mix, and one can of pumpkin filling. I added 1/2 cup water when I made it so it wouldn't be as dense as normal and it came out beautifully. The texture was almost like a thicker more dense version of pumpkin pie without the crust. The best part was because I skipped using the eggs and oil I saved myself a huge amount of point, and still kept the best part the flavor!!

I was pretty full after lunch and dessert, so I only brought a few things to work with me tonight. I made sure to choose things I know I would like to snack on, and things I know would keep me full and satisfied. I brought with me: a cup of fresh strawberries, a medium banana, some more weight watchers popcorn from last night and a strawberry whipped yogurt. For my sandwich I decided to make a Smoked Virgina Ham and Swiss Cheese on an Arnold's sandwich thin...

I think I did pretty well today on top of only using 30 out of my 32 allotted daily points I also got in a really great workout and burned off 600 calories which in WW terms means I earned an additional 6 points to use for the day. I plan on saving them for this weekend when I will really need them, but who knows if I get a sweet tooth later tonight I might just eat a fun sized candy bar which will add a few points onto my day but still not put me over. I really hope tomorrow goes as well as today, and I hope I can find my motivation for another workout even if I am a tad bit sore form today's!

Day 2 . . . Food Journal

Okay so this morning I came home from work, and wasn't really sure what I felt like having. I was tempted to make some banana oatmeal, but then I thought too many banana's already this week lol. I finally decided to pour myself a bowl of Total Plus with Omega 3 and Flax and Almond Clusters! I love this cereal and it contains a lot of great vitamins that I usually go without. To make it even a little bit tastier I added a couple of sliced strawberries, and it was like eating a little piece of heaven... Oh and for the milk it was skim all the way baby. I can't drink whole milk anymore I find it way to thick ewww.

I decided to eat an actual meal for lunch today instead of just a salad. I had a real bug on for some chicken so I made a boneless skinless chicken breast with chicken gravy, and paired it with a delicious sweet potato... When I cracked that sweet potato open the smell hit me, and my mouth instantly watered I love this time of year they taste the best! I was debating on what other veggie I wanted to eat with my meal when I remembered I had a jar of red cabbage in the pantry. . . Needless to say I'm a cabbage freak and choose that right away. Dinner really filled me up, and I was glad that I had changed up my menu from yesterday. I tend to make the same things day in and day out so today was a good change up day for me.

After dinner I watched the Yankee game for a while, and after they won I was so happy I decided that I was going to mini splurge on my dessert for the night! I went to the freezer and pulled out my favorite ice cream.. Moose Tracks Mint Ice Cream.... I don't think I even need to get into the oowey gooey goodness of this ice cream I think it's name speaks for itself! I put half a cup into my bowl and topped it with a dab of Fat Free Cool Whip, and drizzled it with Sugar Free chocolate syrup. It def. hit my sweet tooth, and wasn't actually that many points which really cheered me up!

For work I decided to pack myself another sandwich, but this time instead of honey ham I chose to make a Boar's Head Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken and baby swiss on an Arnold's sandwich thin. I love the sandwich thins they are one of the lowest points in bread for WW and they taste amazing I use the multi-grain one as I think it has the best flavor. I added to my sandwich, a pre-packaged fruit and cheese cup. It contains grapes, apple slices and a couple of cubes of cheddar cheese. I love cheese but it can get to pointy sometimes so these pre-portioned containers are great! I also added another 100 calorie pack of cookies to the mix in case I feel the need for a sweet later on. I also decided to bring another container of Ruby Red grapefruit as last nights tastes so refreshing and juicy in the wee boring hours of work lol. I knew I was going to need something a little filling to munch on tonight, so I made myself a mini bag of the Smart Pop, popcorn it is very low in points and always does a great job of filling me up so I don't snack on bad things at work! As well as the water I bring on a nightly basis I decided to add a bottle of the low calorie blue Gatorade to work as well. Sometimes getting in the required fluids can be tricky if you just stick to water water water, this was a nice way to mix things up.

Out of my allotted 32 points for the day, I managed to keep myself at 31 leaving me the option to grab another 1 point snack if I feel the need later on in the night. I was really happy with my food choices for the day, I had a somewhat different menu then the day before and my choices really filled me up and kept me full through out the day. I'm hoping that tomorrow I can keep up with my  points just as well, and maybe even squeeze in a workout, and walk. Today the baseball game was on, and I was to tempted to leave the house to workout. I would really love any advice on new dishes or ideas, so if you think of something just shoot me a comment, and I will try to make it happen!

Day 1 . . . Food Journal

Today is my first Visual Food Journal post, and since I work overnights my menu's may confuse you a little at times. I am def. one of those believers that you don't have to eat breakfast in the mornings and you don't have to eat dinner at night! Today I was driving home from work, and it was rather chilly out for FL weather so I went home and made myself a bowl of Blueberry oatmeal, and finished it off with a banana! It was so yummy, and warm it helped me fall asleep full and warm!

When I finally woke up this afternoon I decided that I really wanted a salad and baked potato for lunch, and I got to work making one of the best salads I had ever eaten!! My Salad consisted of:

Romain Lettuce Hearts
1 Small Cucumber
1/4 Green Bell Pepper
1/3 Diced Tomato
4 Chunks of Cauliflower
5 Chopped Green Olives
1 Tbs. Bacon Crumbles
1/2 Tsp. Grated Parmesan Cheese
Tangy Catalina Bacon Salad Dressing!

Okay so after lunch I did some things around the house, and then my sweet tooth really kicked in so I decided to use my freshly bought strawberries to make a mini shortcake for dessert!! I took 1 of the pre-made shortcake shells and added a scoop of Fat Free Cool Whip to it then piled on some fresh berries. I then topped it off with another dab of Cool Whip and drizzled Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup around the plate. It was so yummy, and really a low point treat for WW!!

Now like I mentioned before I work overnights, so I have to pack a bunch of stuff to keep me full while I am there. If I don't have something to keep me busy I tend to much, so I need to make sure the stuff I am munching on is healthy.

Tonight I packed a honey ham sandwich with baby swiss cheese on an Arnold's sandwich thin. I also added a no sugar added cup of ruby red grapefruit, a bag of mixed red and green apple slices, and a bag of baby carrots. For the carrots I added a 1oz side fat free blu cheese dip. I tend to get a sweet tooth while I sit at work all night, so I also packed a 100 calorie pack of chocolate chip cookies!!

For right now I am allowed 32 Weight Watcher Points a day with 35 extra a week for splurges and the sort. Today out of my 32 points I consumed 26.5 I will probably have another banana while at work and a few cubes of cheese just to hit my daily target, but for the most part these were my main course through the day. I enjoyed each and every one of them and found that they all did a really great job of keeping me full and satisfied. I already have my meals planned out for tomorrow I just hope I do as well as I did today with staying on track and keeping myself full!

Food 2 Cutie . . . The Purpose of This Blog

Okay first off let me introduce myself... My name is Stephanie, and I am a 24 year old college student who lives in Daytona Beach, Fl. From high school on I have struggled with my weight, and I tried almost everything known to man, before I decided it was time to really put in the effort and get myself healthy once and for all. I joined Weight Watchers almost 2 years ago, and for the first 8 months I did amazing I lost almost 60 pounds! After the first 8 months I started to have some health problems and a couple of surgeries. During that time and for the 6 months following that time I slipped and went back to my old ways of eating for no reason, and I backed way off my workout schedule. Now I have gained back almost 25 of those pounds I lost, and I'm furious with myself for slipping up. Weight Watchers has taught me well though, and I know that it's never to late to get right back on wagon each day is a new day with a fresh beginning, and this is what I'm hoping and looking forward to now. I plan on making a Visual Food Journal on here each day. I will be posting pictures of everything I eat through out the day. I will also be including how many points I have eaten in that day out of how many points I am allowed. For those of you who don't follow WW plan points are used to help up figure out how much we can each within the day and still lose weight by the end of the week. I have great hope that by posting on here each day I will feel more accountable for the things I eat, and will be more tempted to stay on track. If this goes well I think I will also be including how much I have either lost or gained each week. My main goal is that in a years time I will have stayed on track and lost weight, and that I will also have something really awesome to look back on! For those of you who read and  follow my journey I would love to receive comment's and suggestions on menus for the following days or weeks, as well as advice on how to spruce up choices, as I know I tend to stick with the same things when I get busy. I'm looking forward to this next chapter in my life and the rest of the year on here!
